Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton High School Youth Group is a place for teens to make friends,
have fun, and develop a real relationship with Our Lord, Jesus Christ. As a Catholic
youth group, we strive to present the beauty and truths of the Catholic Church.
However, we welcome teens of all faith backgrounds to participate in any youth group
events. Refer to the Upcoming Events page to find
out when the next events are scheduled. Check out the Pictures
page to get a peak into some of our events. Contact Maggie Landrigan if
you have any questions or would like to volunteer.

Here is a sampling of the events Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton High School Youth Group
hosts throughout the year.
On Sunday nights throughout the year we have youth nights. These are the main events
of the youth group.
They begin after the 5pm Mass on Sunday evenings. Youth nights are not a substitution
for the Mass, but should continue the teachings started at the Mass.
Every youth night begins with dinner at 6:30pm and ends at 8:30pm. Most nights will
begin and end in the youth room, though sometimes we will spend time in other parts
of the church. Every night varies in topic and structure. Check out the bulletin
for the topic of the evening. Some past youth night topics include The Good and
the Bad of Facebook, The Mystery of the Trinity, Blessed Virgin Mary, and movie
nights.
Every Monday all high school teens are invited to participate in some mildly competitive
athletic fun.
From after Spring Break until the last Monday in September we play Ultimate Frisbee
on the St. Elizabeth football field from 7pm to 9pm. You do not need to have prior
playing experience – we will teach you the rules of the game – just bring a couple
of friends and a positive attitude.
Starting on the first Monday in October and going until the last Monday before Spring
Break we will move into the parish gym for various indoor games like basketball,
flicker, handball, and hockey. When inside, we play from 7:30pm to 9pm.
The Service & OutReach Team is a leadership group made up of high school teens that
plans and organizes service projects for teens of the parish. Generally the SORT
team plans one project a month.
Some previous projects include playing bingo at a nursing home, helping make sack
lunches at the Franciscan Center, decorating parishioners houses for Christmas,
making a meal at the Mad Anthony Children’s Hope Hospitality House, and collecting
canned food on Halloween.
See the Upcoming Events page for when the next
project happens.
On Thursdays after school the youth room is open until 4:30pm. Any teen is welcome
to stop by for a snack, games, and good conversation.
Bring a friend!
On Wednesday evenings from October through March we spend an hour diving into topics
that more deeply explore the Catholic faith. The session topics range from learning
how to defend your faith to studying Scripture to teachings of the Catholic Church.
On the third Wednesday of each month we will have a Holy Hour which is an hour of
time spent in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. During this hour we have time
for silent reflection, songs of praise, mediation, and traditional Catholic prayers
such as the rosary and divine mercy chaplet. This is an amazing time for prayer
and is a powerful event for those who participate.
LOFT begins at 7pm and ends at 8pm.
Throughout the year we have other special events as well. Below is a list of some
of these events. Refer to the Upcoming Events page
for more info about these events and many others.
